Workplace violence and Harassment can have huge consequences for employers, employees and the work environment. The Trades Union Congress (TUC) estimates that 29% of people have been bullied at work, and more than 1 in 3 people who report being bullied leave their job because of it.
Understanding about effective communication and ways to reduce conflict in the workplace will help to create a more positive working environment, benefiting both employers and employees, and improving job satisfaction, health and well-being, and productivity.
To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Workplace Violence and Harassment, learners are required to successfully complete 4 mandatory units.
This unit aims to provide learners with an understanding of how organisational policies and procedures can contribute to creating a positive and safe working environment, in addition to understanding their own responsibilities and limitations.
Learners will also have an understanding of risk assessment and how to promote a positive and supportive workplace culture.

The aims of this unit are to provide learners with an understanding of aggressive behaviour, techniques to de-escalate such behaviour and outline the impact that aggressive communications can have on the workplace.
The aim of this unit is for learners to develop an understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
This will include current workplace legislation and how individual rights are protected.
